About

Melchiore Buscemi MD has been a physician since the 1970s. In 1977, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Francis College before pursuing a medical degree from the Autonomous University in Guadalajara, Mexico and a M.D. from a State University of New York in 1983. During college, he gained clinical experience by completing rotations at Wyckoff Heights Hospital in New York City and an externship at Queens' Hospital in Queens. In 1984, he became licensed to practice medicine in New York and pursued further specialization training with a three-year residency in urology at the University of Buffalo and Roswell Park Cancer Center, also located in Buffalo.
 

From 1989 to 1991, Dr. Melchiore Buscemi worked as a physician at Lehigh Medical Center in Pennsylvania before relocating to Bridgeton Medical Center in 1991. Finally settling into Canton-Potsdam Hospital and Claxton plus Hepburn Medical Center for the remainder of his career, Buscemi applied his hard-earned knowledge to form successful medical practices over the years.
